Brittany Miller- Face Painter/ Balloon Artist Extraordinaire
One of the first things a parent asks me while painting on the job is how did I get started in this career. It was 2009 and I was volunteering at my home church for Vacation Bible School. I had been mostly floating around and helping where there was a need. I was asked to help paint cheek art on children. Well sure! How hard could that be?! So here I am with no experience trying my best to paint snake mustaches (seriously) and hearts with a simple kit of paints. I WAS TERRIBLE, but that didn’t matter when the kids giggled over those silly ‘staches and thanked me for my feeble attempt at a butterfly. I. Was. Hooked. I bought my first palette of Snazaroo paints and started to immerse myself in the art form. I watched countless how to videos and practiced on poor unsuspecting children. I have come a long way from 2009, but I will never forget that day of silly painting and fun.
BUT, enough about that! You probably want to know a little more about me as a person (and if you don’t, just skip this paragraph! I won’t be offended). My name is Brittany Miller, a Floridian born and raised. At Disney is where I spent most of my days (just kidding! We only went in the summers)! I met my husband in 2007 and was happily married on 11/11/11 (no excuses to forget our anniversary!). On 11/12/11, we packed up a U-Haul and made the 19 hour drive to our new life in Texas. Two years later, happiness manifested itself in the form of a little baby boy! He was perfect and the cutest baby ever, if I do say so myself! Fast forward to 2016 and our family has grown yet again as we welcomed our second little boy into the world (also the cutest baby in the world). When I am not painting smiles and twisting balloons, you can usually find me at a Chick-fil-a (free entertainment for the kids and Polynesian sauce? Yes Please!), or at a Barnes and Noble. I love to do silly dances, sing ‘Let it Go’ at the top of my lungs whenever I paint an Elsa crown, and I love to watch movies with the family!
Thanks for taking the time to browse my site! I look forward to working with you!
